Another great weather flying day. First flight with under wing tank and bomb installed. Testing the springs in Robart retracts accidentally!

Starting to add the markings for my corsair. Repainted cowl. The Krylon royal blue I used is darker shade than ultrakote. Will try regal blue next.

Short clip of maiden flight. One of my favorite models this year and I have only flown it 5 times. Does tail high takeoffs and touch and goes the length of the runnway. AWESOME flier.

Second flight on this model. Certainly didn't expect this to happen! End result is some additional "weathering" on bottom of outer wing panels. Naturally, back in pit area stuck retract worked perfectly.

Out at the flying field today for taxi tests. Also to run power system. Rimfire 65CC motor with apc 24-12e prop equals impressive thrust. Blew the sliding canopy off its rails, since it was still in the open position when testing full throttle.

About ready to test fly this model. Took me awhile to figure position and mount for forward lipo. Balance set 5" back from LE using 6oz. of lead weight. To achieve this I left off back tail wheel cover , cockpit interior, and wheel well covers for the time being. Take-off weight is currently 27.8 lbs. Horizon guys flying gas powered corsairs at 30 lbs.

Gotta love the sound of a well synced twin during low passes. Saito engines coupled with electronic rpm controller.
