I had the chance to attend the SCCMAS show in northern California last weekend, featuring turbine jets, giant scale acrobats, and many other kinds of aircraft. Here's my show report with almost 100 photos:
A chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 18 mph increasing to between 23 and 26 mph. Winds could gust as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Looks like I will have to wait for next weekend, or get up very early one day this week to fly before work. I was able to compare the current draw between the 10x4.5SF prop Great Planes recommends and an 11x4.7SF, and on the ground it only increased from 17.5 to 19.2 amps. I'm going to try out the 11 inch prop and see how it feels in the air. Stay tuned for the complete eLogger review in a few weeks.
