Google Map of Orlando Flying sites
I just created a nice little Google map with the places to fly (mostly) electric models in the central Florida area.
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...&t=h&z=10&om=1
let me know if there is an error or you want a place added.

After the wings broke Mid-air, doing a high-G loop, I thought it was toast. but the only thing I lost was the Pheonix-35 ESC. Wlee I fainally got a new one and it was re-maidened today.
It used to be powered differently ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=398099 ) , and it was fast, But Now I got a MUCH hotter motor in it and it is pulling 382 Watts
I am surpirsed that little double stack CD-rom motor can handle it.
Specs:
GBX double stack, 7turn, 12mag, delta wind.
Pheonix 35 ESC
3S 2400mah 20C Polyquest
5*5 APC prop
21oz flying weight
9.77 Volts
39.1 Amps
382 Watts (290Watts/pound)
24,210 RPM
Apparently the prop tip speed is 360mph (0.46 Mach) so maybe I should go to 4S
No hand launching this baby, it has enough thrust and prop clearance to scoot along the grass and takeoff on it's own.

Usefull RC Links
I am always misplacing usefull links so I think I will post some here. feel free to add some usefull RC links.
MOTOR CALCULATORS:
A simple pitch speed calculator
P-calc or EZ-calc
Like P-calc but with customizable stuff
A complex motor-builders exel calculator

The Great Electric Motor test
I hope to add more later.
