Last year 4- 2011 I scratchbuilt the Kawanishi H8K2 Japanese "Emily". (Click my Avatar to find it) in My Blog. It was a 3 month project with plenty of interest..

This year, 2-2012, I have started the new build of the early version of the Martin Mars that had the twin rudder. I have the fuselage framing started. I am basing the model on Ivan Pettigrews plans.

I started building in April-01-11. It is 2 months into the build here. The motors ar Hextronic DT-700 and 750's. The battery is a Turnigy 5K mah 40-50C 14.8volts. The motors produce under 1k watts and 69 Amps of power use. The props are APC 4 blade 10x6 pitch. The plane is at 16.5lbs. The wing is 100 inches. Fuselage is 78 inches. See the build log here: Totally built in 3 months time.

I updated 8-8-11 to 4 newer motors that were installed doubling the thrust for the Maiden flight. A lot of bang for the buck.

This was an older Cub model I rejuvinated as an E-power model. It has a neat unique style of a plugin motor and battery nose module. I also made the setup for sea and land flights. Have a look at this setup. It would be very good for short nose and radial motor WWI and WWII planes with every other plane in between also.

The plane has all the bugs out from the maiden now and it flies very scale like now. It is so pretty in flight. Very realistic look flying.
Here are the links to the Albatross. This one has all the info and the start all the way to the finish. This is in the middle of this thread.

This is a thread now defunct. It had a gorgeous Albatross by Stef. There still may be some video of the plane in here. It was a museum piece that destroyed in the maiden. I have some notes in the end also.

I posted videos over the past few years here as I built homebuilts and some manufactured kits. I also like to do home builts just to keep busy. Many of them are posted and are all mixed in. There may be some notes under the video about the plane in question there. Have a look as it may be entertaining. I do not fly 3D flights so if you are into hovering you probably won't be interested in viewing these. Enjoy some or all.
