Here's a few pix of the Mach-1 blingeron blocks.
This has been a lon ongoing project that I hope those involved will feel that it was worth the wait.
I plan on taking mine out to Hood River soon and wringing it out really good.

We got updates from Rolland while we were on the road.
Really takes your mind off riding in the rain.

We're back from Humbolt county. Still a little woozy from the ride.
I'll post more later, there are family things to pay attention to right now.

I finished operation #3 on the mach-1 monoblocks. I'll have to build a fixture to hold them more securely for the last op. Last time was quick & dirty. This time will be nicer.

The new spindle drive is working nice!


I built a fixture to complete the 4th operation. The first block I made (the one in my mach) was held very precariously in the vise, and I could not really 'get after it' on the cutting feedrates....Continue Reading

I threw the switch on a new-to-me spindle control unit, and I'm back up and running!

I'd like to publicly THANK Tom Feldvebel for stumbling upon the EXACT PART ### spindle drive unit and special thanks to Seth Arseneau for turning it loose FOR FREE!!!!

It was take out the old unit, and put in the new one, re-attach some wires and logic ribbon plugs, and WALLA! The spindle, she is turning now!

So, I'll be finishing this batch of Mach-1 monoblocks.
