This is my Blade CX2. If you are wandering how I made my tail bom, I just took a piece of carbon fiber that I was using as a motor mount for my Park 300 (the Park 300 is for sale, $35 shipped), then I got a carbon fiber rod, drilled a hole in the round piece of carbon fiber, stuck the rod through the hole, grabbed my CA, and accelerator, glued the rod into the carbon fiber piece, then glued it on to the Blade, I was finished. I also figured out another way of getting your canopy to stay on, I kept on having problems with the little rubber things coming out of the canopy, so I just put the canopy on, then slide the rubber things on the outside of the canopy to hold it on. Check out my pics below.
I am planning on doing a build blog when I build my Tribute Fx 3D. I will be running it on a Park 400 4200kv inrunner, a vampowerbats 1320 mah Li-Po 3s, a vampowerbats 6ch receiver, and HS-55 servos. I should be getting my Tribute Fx 3D next weekend. I will keep you updated.
I love to fly airplanes, and my Blade cx2. I fly at Dennis Hobbies in Eastman< GA with the Middle Georgia Flyboys. My airplanes currently include a Ultimate FX 3D from E-flite, a Piper J-3 Cub from Flatouts, a Edge 540 from 3dfoamy.com, and soon I will have a Tribute FX 3D in my hanger too. You can see some pics of my airplanes below, and I will post some pics of my cx2 this weekend. If your are ever in middle GA, you need to come fly here at Dennis Hobbies, its kinda hard to find, but its an awsome field with an actual runway, and taxiway, not just a grass field. And about 50 feet from the runway is the hobby shop. In May of this year I am moving to Kiev, Ukraine to start a church there. I am trying to find out where the hobby shops, and flying fields are overthere, but I am not having any luck, so if you know of any then LET ME KNOW. Bryan Davison tought me to how to fly, and I gotta say that I got one of the BEST instructors out there. I cant wait till SEFF this year! Will thats about it for me, if your ever in middle Geogia contact me, we might go flying or something.
