I have two questions that I hope someone can answer. I'm 76 years old and getting back into the hobby when I left it in 1979. Also, this is my first attempt to go electric and that is the basis of my two questions. I'm working on my Extra 300 SHP from 3D Hobby Shop. There is nothing in the manual that indicates to cut a hole in the bottom of the fusalage for cooling. Should I and is anyone familiar with the kind of covering this model has? I don't want to cut a hole and have the covering split or crack from it. The other question is tightening the prop nut. The cowl has to be installed first and therefore I'm not sure if it is tight enough. I slip a finger in the air scope hole in the cowl to hopefully get enough resistance and try to tighten the nut but I'm not sure I can hold the outrunner motor hard enough to get the prop nut tight. How tight does it really need to be?
Thanks, Bill Kile
