The Next Generation OSS Multicopter's hardware was released and is now available to the broad public at: http://ng.uavp.ch

The UAVP-NG is a open source community project to build a modern autonomously flying Multicopter, started in 2007 as a successor for the old UAVP Quadrocopter.

UAVP-NG stands for Next Generation Universal Aerial Video Plattform. It is an effort by a group of enthusiasts to create an Open Source autonomous UAV for fun flying, photography and experimentation. It was born out of the old UAVP project, but by now it has technologically and administrativly nothing to do with its predecessor.

For more information check out the NG Forum, the Features list and the News page. Be sure to check out the UserCopters page as well, where you will find pictures and specifications of already airborne NGs. In the Download section you will find all NGOS software releases.

Be sure to read trough our Introduction to the NGOS, our Philosophy and our extensive Documentation also. Most of our developers and beta-testers can be found on the FreeNode IRC network on the channel #uavp at one time or another.

You can buy the needed PCB in our non-profit Shop on the website.

Our RCGroups thread can be found here.

Have fun!
