Well, folks, I will start at the beginning:
My full name is Tod Alan Wulff. I grew up in foster homes in SE Michigan. Did not have the resources to pursue any hobbys as a kid. Got heavy into computers and electronics when I was in middle school and high school - entered a votech program to study electronics and completed that my Jr. year of high school. Worked a co-op program my Sr. year at MSU's engineering department. Got into a bad accident that winter and lost my transportation resources. Joined the USMC. Topped out the ASVAB and got to choose my MOS - selected Weapons System Specialist on A-6E TRAM Intruders - a Night All-Weather Attack airframe of Vietnam Vintage. Went to boot camp on 26Feb86 at MCRD San Diego. Went to Memphis TN for my electronics training - was basically a recap for the first 2/3rds of the school. Completed that 276hrs ahead of schedule (My class was the last computer based training before the Navy rolled over to all instructor training for primary schooling for an MOS).
My airframe specific training was up at Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound of Washington State - beautiful area of the country. Completed that at the top of the class and got to choose duty station - elected to stay right there. Did that for about a year and then requested to get transferred to the fleet. 6 weeks later, I found myself on the deck of CVN-67 with VMA-AW-533 in the middle of the Mediterranean Ocean.
