Looks like I'm just not cut out to be a daily blogger! But I thought I'd post some pics of the Telemaster 66 build so anyone who wants can check them out. It's going slowly, but it's going!

While the pics upload, I guess I'll tell you the history of my Telemaster 66. It's pretty short! My wife got it for me back in the late 80's when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I was home for a few days, and we thought it would give me something to do. Well, I started it back then, and I guess life got in the way, and never got past the fuselage. It was mostly assembled, and the project was shelved for the next 23 years !!

Fast-forward to 2009, and I'm back into RC. I bought a really cheap plane, and in spite of my efforts to destroy it, the plane survived and I learned to fly RC on my own. Soooooo, out came the old Telemaster, and now it's time to get the ol' girl in the air. I hope to have it ready to fly by this spring, at the latest.

More as events warrant. So here are the pics, as of December 12, 2010. Hope you like them!

I'm obviously not a regular "blogger," but I thought it was time for an update. I'm getting into FPV now, starting with my Slow Stick. I fly a camera on almost every plane I fly, just because I love to see the view from "up there."

Here is a shot taken on October 1, 2010 from my "Big Wing Easy Star." It shows a little bit of the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge area of Virginia, where I live.

Hope you enjoy it!

I've been meaning to get something up on here, but I just haven't had time to devote to it.

I fly a Multiplex Easy Star, and am currently setting it up for FPV. I've used it for AP, with a Jazz 178 camera, and Easy Glider wings, with great results (in my opinion, anyway!)

I post a lot on the Easy Star thread these days. Stay tuned, maybe this winter I'll spend some time putting some more info and pictures up on my blog!

I also fly a handful of other planes, such as a Great Planes Slinger (flying wing), a Wild Wing, Slow Stick, MPX Space Scooter, etc. But they are mainly to give me something to do after my Easy Star batteries have been used up!!

Feel free to PM me if you need any help with anything. I'm no expert, but I'll do what I can!

Thanks, and good flying to you!

Bob
