These have to be a great idea. Let's see if it works in practice.
I bought a Spektrum DX6 by accident. I was aware of spread spectrum technology as it relates to general telecom but was not aware it had been applied to RC. The reason I bought the radio was because they offered Mode 1. I learnt to fly Mode 1 35 years ago and these old reflexes have resisted all attempts to re-learn on the mode 99% of flyers use. It works fine until you hit a panic situation but thats when you need the reflexes.
I would love to hear anybody's experiences with spread spectrum. I plan to use it sloping around Southern California with maybe a bit of flat field thrown in.
