Hobby Lobby Yak 55 - Pete gave it to me...it's pink but hey, it was free LOL. Thanks Pete!

SlowStick - Ah the trusty slowstick. I hope to strap my little hacked cvs camera to it soon.

This is my newest helicopter. I bought it off of Derek Bledsoe on RR. Very good guy and was always there to answer my questions even after the deal.

Day didn't start out well. Wanted to test fly after having installed the new main gear. First I wasn't getting lights from the 2n1 and we realized my glow plug was bad. Changed that out, then tried to start, hydro-locked, had to pull the plug again and blow the fuel out...gah! Doing all this sucks when you don't have a table to work on. I drove the car today so didn't think it would fit. I'll have to try to make it fit next time...note to self, table=mandatory! Finally got a flight in and did some sport flying...I actually flew til the header was down to less than half! Pat tach'd the hs at 2100 so we turned the hs down, pete says I should get the governor on there so i don't have to worry about tach'ing it and i agree...so the gov is next up to be installed! Also need to adjust the pitch curves in N to be closer to Idle 1. Switching from N to 1 causes it to drop suddenly. Oh, still gotta check temps for tuning too...gonna install the Carbsmart soon too.

Got three tanks thru the Knight today. Spent the whole time pretty much tuning-leaning the mixture out. The first tank I spent doing climbouts and after landing and touching the backplate I found I could hold there for 5-6 seconds. About the same for thing for the 2nd tanks so leaned out even more. By the third tank it had been leaned...Continue Reading

My first heli was the Blade CP Pro...got it in December 2006. I remember trying to hover that bad boy in the backyard for the first time on New Years eve...haha. It was not pretty!
Pics to come...gotta dig 'em up.

Next was the T-rex 450 SA as seen in a separate post below.

Honeybee King II
I never really could get her to fly right so she was sold not long after.

Century Hawk Pro -
my first nitro...Here's what she had:
Century Hawk Pro (torque tube driven tail)
O.S. Max SZ .37 engine
Curtis Youngblood Muscle Pipe
Mavrikk Carbon Fiber 550mm blades
Futaba S9451 MG digital servo for the tail
JR Sport ST47 servos on swash and throttle
TP1320 mah lipo w/Castle BEC for rx power
CNC metal anti-rotation guide
Header tank

Well I rebuilt this heli and did some test hovering. Then one day the engine seized on me...once i got the knight, this had to go.

My first mini-sized heli which I bought used from a guy on RR back in April, 2007. It has been sold so i figure I'll put up some pics before I pack her up.

Well I rebuilt this heli and did some test hovering. Then one day the engine seized on me. Kinda sad and I am reluctant to give up on this bird, especially after having put so much time into it. But, I think it's pointless to keep this one now that the .50 is here. So the decision has been made, the Hawk is for sale.
