This is a reprise of the Storm Entity plane, starting from a new Entity.
This time I will leave the stock motors in place, replacing the RX and
the servo with Storm Launcher gear.

This will be my second rcgroups.com project. I call it the "Storm Entity". It's a Franken-airplane -- the guts of a Storm Launcher embedded in the body of an Air Hogs Entity stunt plane.

I'll be making a longer post about it in the forums, but here's a sneak preview.

Two maiden / test flights today, both highly successful. Probably flew for 5 minutes on the second flight. Plane will do *drastic* turns, and I did a loop-the-loop on pure acceleration -- elevator isn't even installed yet.

My first rcgroups.com project post: an Aero Ace conversion.

Hello rcgroups -- I just signed up, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've actually been reading your forums for some time now, ever since Google led me here over and over when I searched for "aero ace" and "x-twin". ;-)

You see, it all started with a co-worker and his electric heli. If I *just* hadn't gone with him that day to the R/C store, all of this could have been avoided. But those diabolical fellows at Aero Micro had a Picco Z and an Aero Ace bi-plane sitting out on the counter -- right there in plain sight, for any innocent software engineer to see!

And of course, I had to have one. Of each. And of course, they didn't actually SELL them there, so I had to go LOOKING for them... and you can imagine where that has led me!

Well... here, among other places. ;-)
