The photos are extracted from an 8mm movie film. The venue is Frankton Airport 1967 and was the Southland Gliding Club Christmas camp. This is where I had my first (and only) glider flight with my father at the controls. I still remember some parts very vividly.
This glider has unfortunately lost it's registration, ZK-GBO, but I now know that it is parked up in a shed waiting to be restored. That would be nice to see. So this is the glider I'm modelling and a preliminary pdf of the tailplane section is attached for your temptation.
