Finished the build. It was nice and simple. I hated the large fuel tanks on the outer wings supplied in the kit. I had some 1/18 scale bombs and racks from a static P-51. I added them for a more realistic look that the SBD had. When I purchased mine, I made sure I ordered a spare canopy. I didn't go crazy with reprinting the entire cockpit. I painted a few noticeable areas were the canopy was open and exposed.

Since I was a kid, I had this fascination with the exploits of Manfred von Richthofen. It must have started when my father took me to the movies when the movie "Von Richthofen and Brown " came out in 1971.
Anyway, I bought this ARF about a year and a half ago. When Parkzone and Hangar 9 announced they were coming out with Albatros planes, I got the bug and started this build. Its not a exact replica of the Baron's plane, but its close enough for me.
