Well, when you have to fly, you have to fly:
Plane chasing with the Stryker FPV
Finally put on a landing gear on the Stryker so I can sit in the car and ROG on the snow this winter while flying it FPV. Of course it is when your ready for it that there is no snow so I put on wheels for now. Very fun ! Bloopers at the end :
Well it was raining yesterday, so had to try the Gaui 330x on realflgith. Of course tried it FPV style with the "cockpit" view and recorded some fligths and made a vid. Looks real if you don't mind flotting hoola hoops
This is my personnal record so far with FPV, 4.4 km. Now I need a bigegr plane that can carry more juice. Skywalker for next summer !
I finally got my GoPro ! Paid less since they got the new Hero2 out, I bought the 960. Would have liked the 60fps of the full edition for slow motion, but it still has great video quality:
Maidened of the Habu 32 today. 3 flights so far, excellent plane ! Tracks well, easy to handle, slows well on full flaps with good control authority. Lands well, but will need practice to slow more on the approach. Eflite retracts didn't need any re-adjustments after 3 flights although the grass was fairly long for our usual golf green runway. Sadly, I'll have to hang it under the ceiling t'ill next summer as snow will be here soon and the grass won't be cut again this year
Tricopter flies ! Still some fine tuning to do but it works, and quite well so far.
Frame for tricopter from blueskyRc is built. Will paint it tomorrow. Electronics will arrive next week I hope. Can't wait to try that thing !
Preparing for the big FPV meeting. Met my first FPVers near Quebec city, flying along the St-Lawrence River. Niiiice
Since the first one ended up in little chunks of foam in a field, had to make a second one. Simple layout, not much time invested because those FPV foamies are not staying with me for long it seems
Last Sunday was the 425 CF-18 squadron airshow at CFB Bagotville. Great show....Continue Reading
This was a fun flying day !
Flying FPV along the St-Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada
What I did last weekend. The Stryker flies exactly like I wanted, fast and nimble yet can cruise around lazily if wanted...NOT ! Too much fun going low and fast
