Multiwii Arduino pro mini controller
original wii motion plus gyro
Frsky 4ch rx
4x HK 25a esc programmable, added resistor and cap to board for 2s operation
4x 24g HXT motors
209 x 75mm props LH/RH white is polycarbonate, blue is ABS
Weight: No Battery, 16.15oz (458g)
Works on 2s 1050 20c battery, pulls about 10A from battery at hover
3s 750mah and will carry a 3s 2200

I designed this as I built it from a 3-view drawing. It is EPP and Depron mixed as needed. Mostly balsa reinforcements on hinges with carbon epoxy layup on main wing spar. I printed the horns, wheels, and motor mount. Motor is miniGBX from gobrushless, 24t 28ga wye terminated. I might change the motor to delta for more power, it barely holds a hover as is. AUW is 145g with a 240mah battery.

I made a scaled down Juka from the Matchless plans on FlyingGiants. Here it is.

103g auw with 360mah 2s battery and no mods except remove case from servos. Same equip as all my other small planes, all stock Hobbycity stuff.

Maidened yesterday outside in 25deg, second flight today inside. Flies very predictably. Good hi alpha, turns on a dime. Needs a little more power, can probably increase prop area a bit. 10g Motor gets slightly warm, but does not lose rpm in hover....Continue Reading
