Well for me anyway...
It seems once Skip Miller Models found out that I also had been working with MVM models - they stepped in and forced their hand making MVM cut me off.

Its actually a little sad really - Since I had been contacted directly by MVM back in May - and SMM just bumped into the product afterwards. But me having a day job meant they could build and test their plane before I could test mine - beating me to the sale.

What is even sadder to me is it was My mistake that caused them to step in. I contacted Cody and Skip to let them know I was also selling the plane and did not want it to cause problems between us. No fighting, work together etc etc.. yada yada yada
Call it extending an olive branch.
Seems Cody took that info in a different direction and shoved that olive branch somewhere dark and nasty - I guess that teaches me a lesson huh?

After I found out about SMM product announcement I contacted MVM and this is what I was told:

"Hi Scott,

I am realy sory About that. We told you that we sent one model we didn`t know he is distributor. We tought he is only pilot. When we sttarted to advertise it we couldnt send one plane and wait we want to sell a lot because we have staff to pay and other expences.I hope you understend .We want to work with you .Did you try the 2m one how is it flying?
Ivo Milev "

They claimed to want to work with me still - I didnt threaten them - Didnt scream and yell - I played nice....
That was the last I...Continue Reading

Lets see if the weather holds - if so the 2m and the Vulture F3j/TD 3.5 will have their FIRST TEST FLIGHTS!!!!

If all goes well we are that much closer to an intro sale!

Here are the teaser pics!

Here us the other pertinent info you all want to know............

AUW = 78-oz (plus or minus depending on final nose weight)
Wing Area = 7.75 sq-ft
Wing Loading = 10.1 oz/sq-ft

We can shave a little weight off if we change some servos. I chose Hyperion Metal Gear DS-16 servos for flaps and ruddervators - I should have probably went with the DS13's.... They are rated at 100 ounces/inch and would have been fine and saved approximately 1.5 ounces. This is also with a 2100mah Nimh.

Will report on final weight after the trimming...

Stay tuned!

Here is your first look on the 2 meter!!!!!

Specs are:
AUW = 27-oz
Wing Area = 3.25 sq-ft
Wing Loading = 8.3 oz/sq-ft

First flight testing will be as soon as this blasted wind dies down! Probably Friday. Once we are tested and trimmed we will do some winch testing. Assuming it survives the winch I will start a introductory sale for those interested....

Stay Tuned!

OK all! You heard my announcement that we brought in from Europe the new Vulture 3.5m F3j/TD ship! Yup the 3.5m Vulture F3j/TD from MVM Models in Bulgaria!

We are finally about ready to do some testing on the Vultures that we brought in for testing back in July!
Currently the ultralight 2 meter is about ready for its first flights - should be next week due to a hurricane on its way into the east coast!
The Vulture 3.5m is next to be built - waiting on the digi servos from Hyperion which should be here next week. Did I mention I carry Hyperion now? Hmmmmm might have missed that one

From what I have heard so far - testing should prove out there is no issue with these planes! In which case I plan on setting up something special for you that are interested!

All I ask - is give me a couple of weeks and then we should be all set!

Questions? Comments? Let me know in PM or here - whatever floats your sailplane!

Thanks for all the support - it means alot to me and I will continue to bend over backwards to make sure you are all satisfied!!
