Hello Brothers

Man has been busy learning new skills and technique on my CNC Router.
Sorry I had to put away RC for a bit but I'll be working on something aircraft related someday soon.

Don't mean to be rude to you guys that PM me but I'm having a hard time
keeping up with things happening here since I've unsubscribed from most threads.
I'm not even flying indoor twice a week anymore

To who it may concern .

I sure would love to get my Kits back from the estate of David Fields.
$1000 would be a reasonable total of the cash, kits, and equipment
that I'm out.
Dave made it sound like he was going to send me my kits/equipment and something nice ( I assumed a plane ) to make up for the cash/time/trouble.

Keep you posted
Larry

Been burning the candle at both ends

Bought another rental the other day at auction.
What's unusual is that it's the first house I built 20 years ago.

The lady that lived there last had 50+ birds and 4-5 dogs.
Some of the birds just flew around the house.
The texture wall were covered in bird droppings.
The wall baseboards where filled with seed droppings

Got the placed cleaned up, replaced baseboards, refinishing the woodwork, new back door, new floor covering, new counter tops.
All in all the house has held up well for 20 years.

My new storage addition at my home shop is almost ready to roof.
Still got to finish the siding and trim.

Got to get a MEP job out this weekend too.

My Girl had a FUN FAIR at her School ( Greenwood Blue Jays ) and I
was asked to make a MTWI game.
Taking the Bull by the horns I came up with this.

Made the Blue Jay end panels out of 1" foam board
Embedded 1" PVC pipe in the bird through it's leg.
Added some depth by added layers to the wings and eye.
They stand about 4.5'.
The TP bar is in 2 - 6' section that is supported by a central Tee.

More pictures later

This is about the cleanest my workbench has been in a long time.
We a having some of my daughters girlfriends and Parents over for my famous Meatballs w/ gravy tomorrow night after the Halloween parade.
We also have the Kindergarten class party tomorrow too.
We are in charge of games so I made a " Pin the Wart on the Witch " with big LED eyes out of 1" foam board.
I also made a big 4' Jack-O-Lantern with cutouts that we use for a beanbag toss.

Sorry for the poor photo quality of my camera phone

Pictures of some AR6400s.
One servo was binding where shown.
Had to use my sharpest knives, mag. glasses, and my
finely honed dexterity to hack it out of the way.
Thought it might have been glue, but it looks melted
Anyway, it works now

Working on planes to take to SMALL in LT Rock in a few weeks.

Had a great time

As it seems every year, I'm running around half crazed the couple weeks
before SMALL trying to get every plane finished and ready to fly.
The day before I was suppose to leave was no exception.
Loaded my truck Thursday night, getting ready to leave first light Friday morning.
Found out I might not be going, so I unload truck.
Did not find out I was going till late Friday afternoon,
reloaded my truck ASAP and got out of Dodge.
It was not until I made it to SMALL, Saturday morning, and unloaded
that I found out that I left my Transmitter on the workbench

Thanks to Tom B. for letting me share his Radio so I could Fly.
But what was more helpful was he was able to program his transmitter
for all my crazy mixing/slaving that some of my planes need.

Got to meet Dave Campbell and his pal John.

For years I lwas reading about his planes and finally got one of his SLIVERS.
And I mean it was really one of his planes. He built it and flew it and took
pictures of it. I bought it second hand and always planned on getting to it someday.
Fast Forward a couple year while I was unloading my planes at SMALL 2011.
I happen to have a few of my pylon plane that I was going to
fly/sell/show off, laying about.

Some guy walks up and asked about my SLIVER.
I started to talk about " It's Dave Campbell's sliver that
I bought many years ago from another person...Yada, Yada, Yada.."
Then I notice he has a black SLIVER in his hand!
"I'm Dave Campbell, that's my plane"
Dave told a story of the crazy things that guys do
to please their girlfriends ( like selling off perfectly good airplanes).

So we did a bit of trading and I ended up with his
black SLIVER and he got his old SLIVER back.

John ( forgot his last name) was producing some very cool
little racers that I just had to have.

Will post more about SMALL later
