Hi all, Here a video of my FMS 1400mm W/S T-28 all stock. This is the newer one with the 65 amp ESC. I was flying her on a 5s 2650 40C Sky Lipo pack. With the 5s pack she takes off in about 5 feet at WOT. Great flying plane, lands nice and slow and I don't even use the flaps on take off or landing. She also flys nice on a 4s pack.

Hi All, Went to the WRAM show in N.Y. last weekend on Sat with my buddy. We were at the Nitro Planes display and we both picked up one of the FMS 1400mm T-28's. He got the silver Air Force Huff & Puff and I got the orange & white Navy one. The nice thing was they were both the V2 version with the 65 amp ESC. We got them both for a real good price. A bit less then they had them marked for sale at the show . I was told that by the end of Sat. show Nitro Planes was sold out of just about all of the planes they had. The new WRAM show was better than the years before and we will be going back again next year for sure. All I can say we both like the T-28's we got. They both fly great and for the price can't be beat in my book. Here are a few pic's of them at the club a few days ago.

Hi all, My buddy shot this video of her maiden flight. This flight was on 2-3s 2650 40C packs. I like the take off from grass on the stock wheels. (NOTE) The rate she climbed at after take off I like it for sure .. Plus the winds were about 10 MPH with the stock fans I would not fly her when it was windy as she would get pushed all over the place. With these fans no problem at all. I hope to get a better video this week with my HD cam. After that I will try to get the retracts on her and new paint job sometime later.

Hi all, I had her maiden flight on Sat with the C/S 10 blade fans. She took off real nice from our grass field. Full power on take off than down to half power for most of the flight. Rolls, loops even knife edge no problem. She has real good power way better than the 3 or 6 blade stock fans. Ran the motors on 2- 3s 2650 40C packs and getting 4 min on the packs. After I get the retracts in it I will be able to use some 3000 or 3300 packs and get about 4 1/4 to 5 min out of her. I have to say the sound from these fans are better than the stock fans. I don't get the woosh sound like other have gotten in a long ducted jet. I think it's because of the short nacelles and lower RPM's from the 3s packs. But it does look real neat with all them blades in the fan. Had a few flights today also. My buddy took a video of one of her flights today so as soon as I get it from him I'll post it.

Ok guys, Got the C/S 10 blade fans mounted in the S/A all ready to go. Hope to get her in the air this week. Running 2-Sapac 3200 kV motors, 2-65 amp HiFi ESC's, 5 amp UBEC and 2-40C 3s 2650 Sky Lipo's. Should fly real nice with these fans. I am getting 62 amps, 665 watts per motor at WOT. So I will have about 1330 watts total to take off from my grass field. Here are a few pic's of her. Will repaint her after her maiden flight.

Hi guys, I am getting ready to redo one of my airliners with the new 70mm 10 blade fans from Change Sun. I posted a few pic's of them nice fans and rotors. They come with a 3.2 & 4mm shaft adapters. Gonna glass the whole jet with 1/2oz F/G and WBPU. Putting in electric retracts, lights and a new paint job. I fly off a grass field so these fans will have the extra pull I will need in the spring and summer when the grass is a bit thicker. Gonna run the Sapac D2842 3100Kv motors, 2x 4s 3300 40C packs. From what I have read on here they will pull about 95 amps at about 1400 watts each side at WOT. So total will be about 2800 watts and about 6 1/2 to 7 pounds of thrust total. I won't need all that power in the air but it's nice to know it's there if needed. Should fly real nice at 1/2 throttle and I hear these fans sound real nice. Not that high pitched sound like many of the high power 70mm fans make but that swoosh sound like a turbine.

Well, I got my 5s 2650 40C Sky Lipo pack in the other day. I went to the flying club to do some flying and check out the readings on the ME-163 with the 5s pack. Here is a pic of the readings I got on my meter . Now I just got to put in the 100 amp ESC to fly it on the pack as I have the Hobby Wing 80 amp that will go to 100 for 10sec's. So I don't want to push the 80 that hard.

My buddy got a speed of 129.6 mph on his phone with the RC Speedo app. After checking the video I dont think he had the temp set on his phone. I took the sound from 48 to 54 sec's of the video and ran it on the PC verison of RC Speedo with the temp of 89 that day and got 139.7 mph

Well, I took the ARC 28-48-1.5 out of my ME-163. It had real good power and speed but with the 3.17 shaft it would bend real easy if the prop hit the ground at all. I had 2 ARC 28-48-1.5 motors where the shaft broke off inside the motor after landing. I went with the Sapac MB-1 3200 Kv motor as it has a 4mm shaft. It's a bit faster than the ARC motor and it will also take a 5 cell pack when I want more speed out of the jet. I have about 10 flights on her with the MB-1 and no problem with the shaft at all. We used the RCSpeedo on a IPhone and got an average of 130 mph with the MB-1 motor. Used a 4s 2650 40C pack with APC 5x5 prop not to bad. Hope to get some 5s 2650 40 or 50C packs soon and see what she will do than. My buddy took the video below and posted it on You Tube without the sound. Will get a better one with sound soon.

Well, she is all done and got a few flights in with my ME-163. First flight she went for about 50 feet than hit the deck, did not have enough up in her. The prop was done for and cracked part of the front a bit. Repaired and ready to go the next day. Put a lot more up in her and that did the trick. Right now I am running a 5.25 x 4.75 prop and she sure does move . I hope to have a video up maybe in the next week or two. Here are a few pic's of her before the nose damage, after the repair the nose is painted black. I did add a few cooling holes to the nose and opened up the tail end. Plus I put some grip tape under the wings so it's easy to toss her. Power set up is ARC 28-48-1.5 motor with heat sink, HobbyWing 80 amp ESC, 4S 2200 40c pack and 2-Power HD 16g servos. With a APC 5.25 x 4.75 prop I get 31,200 RPM's, 78 amps at 1175 watts. With a light toss she goes right up no problem .

Hello all, Went out flying yesterday. It was a great day here in the east yesterday for flying. Temp was about 60 and winds were lite at 5 to 10 mph. Wanted too fly my Simprop Piaggio Avanti that I picked up at a R/C flea market the week before. It was sold to me rec ready. She came with 2- Suppo 2217/8 motors, 2-30 amp ESC's, 2-Hitec HS-81 servos and 2-8x6 APC props. So after checking her out and adding some decals she went out to fly. Let me tell you it's one great flying plane. Rolls, loops and turns are great the planes flys like it's on rails. Landings are fun floats right in no problem. With this set up I was leaving some 40 size glow planes in the dust. It flys on a 3s 2200 30C pack for about 6 min no problem and I have some 3s 2650 40C packs comming in this week for her. So I hope to get about 8 min flying time with the larger packs. Here are a few pic's of her and the other planes I took out yesterday to fly. The others are H/L Fury jet, Starmax F-5 and Cermark Fantasy Racer.

Here's my new Fantasy Racer by Cermark after it first flight. Did do a few mods. Replaced the tail servos with MG ones, put flat CF spars under the elevator surface and some pin striping on the plane. Good flying plane plus gets lots of looks at the field. I fly it on a 3s 2200 30C pack but have some 3s 2650 40C packs comming in this week. Have my CG set at 2 3/4. Plus the best thing about the plane is I got it for 90 bucks brand new in the box at a
R/C flea market.

Hi All, Here is a video of my stock Hobby Lobby 80mm FJ-3 Fury flying. It's a real nice flying jet and it spins fast even on low rates that I was flying on. On high it spins like a top lol. I did add some lite ply blocks on top of the main gear covers because of our grass field. This was a great buy at 100 bucks for a rec ready jet.

Hi all, Hobby Lobby was selling these jets out at $99.99 with $9.99 shipping rec. ready it was a great deal. The Fury sold out and they still have the F-86 but it's back at the regular $219.00 price. It took only one night to have it ready to fly, but with all the snow here I had time to add some trim paint and lights to her. It's a nice set up stock with a 80mm fan and 2600 Kv 4 cell motor, 45 amp Hobbywing Pentium ESC that has the switching BEC in it. Also came with all the servos 4-9g and 1-metal gear 9g servo for the front steerable nose gear. I will be running a 4s 40C 2650 pack in it. The lights can be turned on and off by the transmitter. I hope to fly her after the snow is gone at my club field.

Hi all, The wind was howling here today 15 to 20 mph and better. But I had to fly . Most of the guys at my club left the field saying it was no good to fly. Even the guys with the bigger glow planes packed it up for the day at about 11 am. Not me I had the whole field to myself . Got in many flights with my jets and my TwinStar. I got a Jazz camera a few weeks ago for 25 bucks from Big Lots and mounted it to the rim of my hat. It does not take the greatest video but when you don't have anybody there with you it works out ok. Here are a few flying videos of today with my H/L Firebird, Sapac T-45 and StarMax F-5e.
