Yeah! 1st place at the 3rd SoCal Speedo Man-on-man races held at Lunada Bay! If I can pull a repeat in my next race then maybe just maybe we'll attribute some small part of it to actual skill, but most of all it was just being dumb luckiest. -

Glider Point with my son. Picture taken after a successful maiden of the new to me ESO Carbon. Son helped carry the Speedo down the mountain and gave it some "added dihedral" :)

Found this old picture of me in the RC Soaring Digest archives. My dad submitted this picture of me flying at our home slope in Osaka Japan but somehow neglected to tell me when he did it 
. After it was published I still remember him grinning ear to ear when he came in and showed me "the latest" edition. Being the teenager I was, I think I may have blew it off, but now in hindsight it sure brings back good memories. Thanks Dad!
