I got the carbon spars in the wing and side stablizers. I'll Solder the hacker esc and the TP pack connectors next. The hacker outrunner fits a little different than the planned motor, but it should go in with some slight modifications. So far this is an easy build.

I picked up a Super Zoom 4D on the Hobby Lobby Holiday sale. I'm going with the following setup and modifications:

- Hacker A20-22L Brushless
- Hacker X20 Esc
- Berg 7 DSP RX with Azzar
- Allerc Blue 9gram servos
- TP 3S 1320 Lipo
- Props TBA

Modifications:
- Dubro lite wheels inplace of stock ridgid wood ones
- Carbon rods in place of aluminum rods in kit

I have the wing joined with Goop glue and I got one side of the fuse doublers on. I'm still awaiting some parts.

Well, after getting fustrated and bored with RC modeling in the summer of 2004, I sold off most of my gear and took a break from it to pursue other interests.

This fall I descided to ease into the hobby again, but centering mostly on Micro size helicopters. I just don't have the time or space to fly anything bigger for the time being.

The Dynam Vortex multi was my choice for re-entry. I have been flying indoors mostly and tinkering with it to improve performance. I bought a used Hitec Eclipse 7 with Spectra Module to gain better control and adjustability over flying the Vortex as well as future models. I wanted something proven and flexable vs the JR 8103DT with a fixed channel I had before.

I am looking forward to picking up where I left off and improving my flying skills.
