Hey all.....
Since my B-36 thread seems to get derailed I have decided to start this.
This will be a place that I can post stuff that I think is cool..... But won't take away from my B36......
Feel free to post anything AVIATION related..
Cheers DAG

Well here we go. This is my next project after the 36.....
This design is about 90% done in CAD, she will need to be built in 3D to make sure all the parts will fit. I have been working on this on and off for over 2 years but the B36 is my highest priority. NOTHING more than design will happen on this until the B36 is flying. The reason I am starting this thread now is to share how I turn my CAD designs into 3D to make a working model to see how everything will work and fit, also I just ordered from the UK a set of real Mossi documents, manuals, and drawings from the original De Havilland Mosquito. This design will have peaks and valleys as I really only get design time late at night when I can't make noise.
IMHO this is one of the finest aircraft ever built!!!
Cheers,
DAG

This is my A-7 Design Log, that will become my Build Log
Here is some of my design development 3D's and CAD. As I said I will not be doing anything with this design (maybe when I am traveling) until the B-36 is in the air. This will be a duel design, My 101" span A7-D, and a 36" span A7-D.
If I had to guess I would say this design will be done around December. And that depends on the B-36....Continue Reading

Many want to see my project from square one. So I am going to share the best I can all aspects of the design, and then the building of this project. This thread may be slow at first as I only design while traveling, or late at night when I can't run my saws and drill-press. If you are here to see wood being cut, and the aircraft on a bench, come back in about 10 months. if you want to see how I create a plane 110% from scratch, then you should have a great time.
This project should proceed like this:
Programming- this is where I calculate what it will take to make this project successful.
DD-Design Development, this is where it will start to take shape and certain components will be made to test the feasibility of it working on the completed aircraft.
Prototyping-Testing what is thought to be a challenge.
Construction-it speaks for it's-self.
Testing-it speaks for it's-self.
I will be posting all aspects of the design, CAD, 3D-CAD, calcs, maybe some math, and hopefully keep you all interested in the project.
Rock On!
