This is an awesome 3d foamy, if you have not heard of it you should check it out. So much fun to be had with something like this even in the hands of a novice 3d pilot, and talk about durable, they are a very stress free flying experience! Even the props from twisted hobbys are super durable! If you like 3d i can almost guarantee you will enjoy this plane.

WARNING LOUD NOISE AT 30 sec. turn down volume

I just got a hitec aurora 9 from allerc.com through amazon for $344.00 and i have to say it is a very nice radio. I thought i would be much bigger by the things people have to say about it. The sticks are very nice, out of the box they come with the ratcheting on the throttle but is VERY easy to adjust the tension on the stick as well as take out the ratcheting. All you have to do is move a small rubber cover and take a phillips screw driver and loosen or tighten one of 2 screws. Personally i like the way the radio looks but more so how it feels. I stepped up to this radio from a dx6i, which worked great for what i have but i wanted to take the next step and upgrade. Now, compared to the dx6i the aurora much heavier but in a good way to me at least. Now when i pick up the 6i it feels like a toy with plastic grips and such a low weight. In my hands the aurora feels less bulky than the dx6i. The aurora 9 comes with a nice tool attached to the handle so you can use the touch screen without getting fingerprints on the screen and if you take the rubber tip off the tool it has a small plastic flat head you can use for the binding process. I like the fact that the antenna is much smaller than the dx6i's and the cord that comes out the back of the aurora doesn't seem like it would ever become an issue as it is tucked nice and close to the radio, not dangling to snag on everything. Also, out of the box the aurora's sticks were tightened all the way down making them very short so it...Continue Reading

I just did the maiden on my 41 edge it's my first balsa airplane and man is it awesome! This thing performs so well i can't wait to get everything dialed in perfect and get the hang of it. It's a lot more to handle than a foamy but it makes it more fun. I can't wait to try again tomorrow.

When i started i didn't know where to go to fly my plane. Then i walked up a hill behind my house and down a trail to find a great place to fly. The grass is a little tall and dry and the path a bit rough but my parkflyers handle it fine. A few people asked where i fly and i just wanted to show a picture, if you are down for a short walk(about 10 minutes) and are in the area i would love to show you the spot. The dry grass and rough path are not the best for keeping your plane pretty but i love flying through the valley.
