This is my snowmobile with the older mods. It couldnt do jumps and didn't have a suspension. It was good conditions for speed though.

I have a little New Bright snowmobile that I'm going to covert to nitro power. We've bought all (I hope) of the supplies off of Tower Hobbies. We got two standard S3003 Futaba servos and a HPI Racing Nitro Star .15 w/pull start. Will that thing run when its 15 degrees outside? This sled is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet long. Will a Standard Servo be able to turn the skis? We've bought gears (Had a heck of a time finding the correct pitch) and a muffler and all that good stuff. We have to make a new drive train since the motor is at a different hight than the cheap stock brushed motor. We were going to get oil filled shocks, but the bill was already high enough. This is just one of those cheap little r/c snowmobiles you can get at Target. But were not using the radio system thats in the snowmobile. We're using the 2 ch radio system from my Aquacraft Supervee 27 Nitro. That way we save ourselves $100. We just move it back and forth for which season it is. Got any suggestions on how to mount the motor? Thanks!
