well when I got back from doing some shopping there was a big box on my door step so when I unloaded the car I brought the box in side a opened it and it was the cub so i started to build it was going well I was about half way done when I got the bad news my male boston terrier died he was 8 years old he was a good friend and always knew how to make me smile he was such a good dog he will be missed greatly

well got a surprise email from my brother to day telling me that i should expect a 1400mm j3 cub in the post Friday the 8th so shocked I called him to see why he has done such a nice thing ( don't get me wrong he's a nice guy but doesn't send me things in the mail well he said it's a late christmas present because I gave him my autographed OU foot ball (not a football fan inless it's soccer ) for christmas

This is my third flight with a 4ch plane

airfield 800mm p40 flight and crash (1 min 31 sec)

well the wind die down before the storm so i got the old p40 out the

(First flight) take off was not so good it nosed over and the spinner popped off so i tryed to hand launch and that was a diaster it went nose first into the ground and the motor came out so i went in side to get my tools to fix the motor after i fixed it i looked around for a smooth flat ground (most is tall grass )

(Second9 flight) I put the plane on the short grass runway the takeoff was good the plane went rumbling along the grass there was a little dropoff the plane hit it and i gave it more throtle and it was airborn it went about 5 yards and started to role to the left so i gave it some right stick but the plane just roled faster to the left and i was to close to the ground to recover and the plane hit the ground like a belly landing (it had landing gear on ) so i check everything over nothing was broken and checked the tx and everything was reversed (me being a noob I didn't no it) so i changed it and it was on flat and smooth ground so off we went again

(Third flight ) it jump to life and rumbled along and was air born in no time but when i gave it more throtle to gain altitude the motor went flying out the front and the plane just nose over and landed hard
the only thing i can think of is the ( in the second flight the screws can loose and it pulled it self from the ESC it landed about 6ft from the plane so I gather up the plane and motor off to the house we go it was hard to...Continue Reading

this is my new plane it an airfield 800mm P40 was a RTF but i will mod some haven't got to fly yet to windy here in oklahoma but hope to soon
