(House of Balsa) Northstar
E-Flite 32 brushless motor; 11/7 3-blade prop; 60 amp ESC, 4S-5000mAh battery pack, approx. 600 watts at full throttle.

Rudder broke off on the second flight during a hard touch-n-go (now repaired).
The maiden flight went perfectly. The plane is very smooth. Power is adequate for a nice flight and a few rolls, but I may go to a higher voltage battery pack (5S lipo).

Sig Kobra powered by an E-Flite EF-1 racing motor, and an older (20 years old?) Graupner GeeBee Sportster, originally intended for a brushed motor and nicads, but with an E-Flite 480 brushless.

Adrian Page (Canadian-made ‘short’ kit) 80” wingspan Piper Super Cub. Customized balsa built model airplane radio control and electric powered. E-Flite 46-size brushless motor and 5-cell lipo battery pack. Spektrum transmitter and receiver. Modelled after a vintage full size Israeli military Cub. Flown at TEMAC

90 degree crosswind and some wind gusts. Lots of rudder turns with opposite ailerons for side slipping and flat turns

Thanks to Simon H for taking the video. Music is a non-vocal track of Lennon-McCartney's 'Hold Me Tight', from 1963; I play all the instruments.

Here are 5 of my new model airplanes, 3 of which are are 'short-kit' build projects.

Parkscalemodels Grumman Albatross - 96" wingspan powered by 2 E-Flite 15 motors on a single 3-cell 5000 mah lipo battery pack; all built up balsa and ply; covered, painted and fiberglassed; weighs a very light 8 pounds; successfully flown off water and land.

Adrian Page (Canada) 1/5 scale (80" wingspan) Piper Super Cub modeled after a full scale in the Israel Air Force Museum. The kit has been extensively customized.

Skywriter biplane - a British non-scale sport plane, extensively modified. Weighs about 5 pound and flies nicely.

Sig Ninja sloap soarer modified with an E-Flite ducted fan and motor. Flies amazing!

Taft Hobbies 6-cell Viper jet. Very smooth.

Here are a couple photos of my Parkscalemodel Grumman Albatross flying boat model as I near the end of construction, after nearly 4 months. It is a 96" wingspan twin electric, all built of from balsa (Each cowl - not the the nacelle, just each cowl, is built up from about 90 small pieces of laser cut balsa). The open structure parts are covered in Monokote, the balsa fuselage, cowls, and wing-tip-floats are covered with fiberglass and painted.

I bought a built-but-never-flown Hangar 9 Tiger Moth, and converted it to electric power.

Yesterday I flew it for the first time.

One of my models that I put together last year, I flew it today at our club in beautiful weather.

Music is played by me (all instruments, and recorded on my ipad with the Garage Band app. The song is played in the key of G instead of E, which is easier for me.

I sold my wonderful Dave Patrick Clipped-wing Super Cub, and so I am changing my avatar to show a model that I currently own.
