I'm not sure when I started the Nick Ziroli , Bv 141 but it has been a while. Could be 10+ yrs?? Jalopoplane by Eddie Ashimine . 7yrs and counting. Covering is progressing on the jalopoplane.I'll post pictures of progress here.Stay tuned.

Been working on this plane for a friend.Actully he is our rc club president.Tom has limited building skills but makes it up in flying and just a great person and friend.I help him when he wants help.Here is a Giant quaker that was converted to e-power.He didn't want the Maxcium motor/esc so I swapped it out and gave him something simpler to understand.Posting pictures on how I set up the battery instale and removel.Should be testing this week.Enjoy,

Had problems with water in the cellar lst year.So now I'm getting back to cleaning things up and throwing stuff out.Who wants something????

Well after two years I finally scored a wing for my Lions Focke Wulf Fw190a.I had a little crack up at the neat fair in 2011.The wing and cowl was the major damage.Finally after watching the for sale section a guy had one he was willing to sell.So the Fw will fly again.

Last year was a major turmoil.Nothing r/c after april2013.So tommorro will be our clubs FROZEN FINGER FUN FLY.I'll try to get back in the saddle again.

Well folks I went to our airfield and was able to get in not one but TWO test flights.When checked with watt meter,the numbers showed just 400 watts at full throttle then it starts to drop.I was a little concerned but the way the plane taxied so fast I put my worries aside.Wind blowing from the west so this was the direction of take off.So what all ready I pushed the throttle stick to full!!! Just at the end of the tarmac the plane lifted.Kept the plane climbing into a safe height.Plane feels solid but there is no reserve power.Well not really.So full seem to the only option.Once trimmed the plane seems to fly okay.Real scale flying if thats your fancy.After 5min or so I landed the plane.It does have a good glide path if the throttle isn't chopped early.So once landed I check the motors for tempeture and to make sure no magic smoke.Esc was nice and cold!!!So feeling like a champ I decide to take another flight.This time I through in a loop or two,stall turn.That's about the aerobatics with this power I had on hand.Gonna try a bigger three blade prop.Esc is designed for 16 round cells so I figure 4s would be the max with the lipo.Anyhow I only have on static picture(battery in camera went dead Nexttime hopefull in flight pcs.PLUS IT WAS COLD!!!!!!

Well taxi test look great.I performed them this morning in front of my house.Plane seems to move rite along.Nice that our club has 100' of tarmac runway.With any luck I will go to feild for test flight.I talk to previouse owner ofthe plane.1993 was the last time this plane saw air time I'll check the planes annuel for airframe updates.Talk soon.

I purchased this plane from a ezone friend(All American).The plane is a Cherokee? .Well it's a civilian plane anyhow.I also purchased this vintage dual BRUSH MOTOR Geard set.I was excited as I put power to the motors and they ran.But loud! Finally after have to figure out how to get the nose wheel to steer with the rudder the plane is ready for a test hop/flight.Weight wise it looks close to 5lbs .About 2 lbs of static thrust.Running a 4s lipo with a kontronic esc mounted outside for max cooling.Fuse needs to be finished .I want to see how it flys before I go over board.Here aer a couple pics.Battery will be old skool changing too.As the wing gets removed to change battery.Enjoy,

Well the repair took a little longer than I thought it would.BUT IT'S DONE!! Just need a small piece of oragne covering to finish the left side of the fuse.Remember,PICK UP THE PEICES AND GLUE IT BACK TOGTHER!!

Well first 4 flights where great.But the 5th flight I was trying to perform a outside loop and didn't have enough altitude.SMACK!!! into the ground.But also my elevator control was on low rate.But other than that this plane is a keeper.I'm performing surgery rite now on the fuse.Should be flying this week.My power set up is the recomended 450 e-flite motor.Master air screw 10x8 eletric prop worked great for me.3s 2200 battereis.Mine are used so new battereis will give you more power.But everything I did I was getting 8min flights.Wind was strong so power had to stay on the up side.Here are the before and after pictures.

Well,After sitting for 6months I sold my van that I painted like the A-Team.231'000 miles Right center cylinder had a bent valve/burnt or bent.I know the cylinder wasn't firing.More room in the yard!!!

Had lots of fun at the NEAT FEST.My second day of flying,2nd flight of the plane that day ,I got a little close to the tree line near the pond.Plane went into the tree's.But only major damage was the wing.I plan to build a new wing out of balsa and the plane will fly again.i have had lots of fun and want to fly the plane again.Well I'll need a cowl too.Hear are some pictures from the NEAT FEST plus pictures with the pilot in without the canopy glued in place.There is a picture of me with the plane and a picture of the new 190 arf from Topflight models.Enjoy.
