Skyartec Nano frame is fragile. The tail boom holder could be reinforce with hot glue all over. The main shaft holder is prone to break at his base, particularly in lateral forces . I added 6 pins, 5 mm long by 1 mm diameter in the servo holes to utilize the servo casings to increase the rigidity and the solidity of the structure. I used a little hot glue to prevent the below pins from sliding on the main gear.

After breaking my V200D01 canopy mounts, I found a more flexible and crash resistant way to mount the cab.

With my first F45 I did the classical brushless mod. I got a lot more speed and power. I created a small lovely brute.

Then I thought I could increase the agility of my second F45 by simply reducing the weight. The stock F45 is 380 gr. no battery. My new lighter F45 is 277 gr. ,103 gr. 27 % less. Under the canopy ,everything is stock.

The mods:

- Lower side frame size reduced.
- Lower bottom size reduced.
- 3 points lighter landing gear.
- Flybar weight reduced.
- 5 gr. plastic sheet canopy.
- Side bars, horizontal fin removed.
- Tail fin removed.

I also have the benefit that the battery can be changed without removing the canopy. A velcro strap hold the battery in place. A new swashplate guide, my third version, was necessary after the stock one broke ( as usual ) .

The flight is great. A lot less throttle and rudder is necessary. Because the F45 transmitter return the cyclic to neutral when rudder is asked, the lesser rotor torque and the lesser rudder help the banking in turns. Definitively more affected by the wind. This one is a ballerina compare to my brushless brute.

As an owner of a V200D01 you have to learn to live with a huge main gear eater ! After replacing a dozen, I found that fixing the 3 in1 and the ESC with Velcro, was very practical for the next 25 gears !!!

Another simple trick is to use a black marker to blacken the flat side of male and female red JST on my V200D01, My F45, the batteries, and the charger plug . I don't always have my glasses with me. ( O.K. joker, my vision is 100 % at more then 4 feet, the only important vision to fly an RC helicopter.

My best flyer. V200D01 modified with 180Z flybar and mixing arms, 2 long servo arms from a tail servo. I made the U shape flybar pivot.
