At the moment, Gearbest is having a huge sale on a lot of RC stuff. I strongly recommend checking it out here:
I got a couple of things already from this monster sale like the WL Toys F959 Glider:
I also got this little airframe for $2 and plan to build a brushed plane out of it:
I swear this isn't spam, I just want to spread the news!

Here I present another unboxing. This time, I am unboxing the MJX X901. The x900 is the tie Worlds smallest hexacopter, and it flies pretty decently considering how small it is. So far, I have already had a couple of problems which worries me. One is, that the charger didn't work. I modified this with a new USB cable but it was pretty time consuming. Two, is that it is quite wobbly in the air, so it looks quite ugly in the air. My full review of this is coming soon to my Youtube @ JC Quadcopters.
Here is the link to the X901 for only $25:

I tested a little, easy antenna mod on the Syma X11C and it worked quite well. I get at least 150m on my syma now, before I used to get only around 100m. The mod is simple and doesn't put your quad in much risk. It involves opening the quad up, then digging out a little area where you can stick your antenna out. You could also drill a small hole in the top and stick it out there.
Simple, but effective.
Here is the video which shows how to do the mod:
Syma X11c Mod, Improves Range, Very Simple! (4 min 13 sec)

If you have done this mod, I would love to hear what differences it made to your quad.
This mod certainly doesn't only apply to the syma, it includes most standard nano/micro/mini quads.

Welcome to my review of the JJRC JJ-1000:
Here you can buy the JJ-1000 BNF off Gearbest:
I bought my JJRC JJ-1000 BNF for only $15 and I have never regretted it. It is one of my favourite quads that I have for many reasons, and I will tell you why:

1) Durability - The JJ-1000 has got a very tough frame with very tough props. In my 30-50 flights of it, I have smashed it into walls several times and it has never broken. Also, no motors have burnt out yet which is great considering they're brushed.
2) Flight Characteristics -The JJ-1000 has four rates which only changes the pitch not the yaw. But it is a good, fast yaw rate so that's nothing to worry about. But the pitch is what I like to rave about (like in my video), because it just zooms through the air on 75% and 100% rates. This just makes it so fun to fly outdoors as it can take wind quite well too.
3) Stability - This quad is just so stable! It can withstand a hover nicely and is good at recovering after flips.
4) Price - Obviously, I had to put this point in. For $15 BNF of $30 RTF this is very cheap for what you get. Great value for money!

I only have a few little cons for this quad which don't really effect it too badly.
1) The BNF version doesn't come with a battery. This is quite a problem if you don't already have a battery. The battery that it uses is a 1s 250mAh or 1s 300mAh. (both Li-Po's) They only cost $2-3 so they are very cheap.
2) The battery lead is way too long. The lead gets in the way of the ground so when you try take off it might be wonky. I try tucking it into the battery bay but that risks pulling the wire out.

Overall, I think JJRC has aced this quad as it is just so user friendly and fun!

My Review below will tell you many more specs and thoughts about this product and also shows some flight footage indoor and outdoor of the JJ-1000.

Hi guys, I am building the Flite Test FT Flyer plane. I have cut out all the shapes and got all the electronics. Since this is my first plane that I have/building, I would like a simple explanation of how to connect the electronics. Thanks guys, would really appreciate it

Gearbest has recently offered me a FEIYUE - 02 RC Car. It is pretty fast with nice tight turning. It comes RTR with a nice transmitter which has proportional steering meaning you can make precise turns. It is well priced at around $60.

I have been with GearBest for almost ten orders, and they haven't let me down! I have got all my orders well packaged and within two weeks, usually undamaged. They also have a really cool program where you can make money. They sent me a Syma X5SW for free! Can you believe it! It's worth $100 and they sent it for free just for one video! They also sent the JYToys JY004 for free! That's worth $30! I also received a $10 gift card! Not bad at all! The customer service is certainly 5 stars. The pictures below show the quad copters that they sent.
