Well, I thought I'd make some sort of a post here, letting people know what's been going on and why I haven't been around here for so long.

The short version:

I may have 2 herniated disks in my back, which has drastically cut how much and what kind of work I can do, thus putting me behind with the business.

The long version:

So, back in October, I strained a couple muscles in my back while putting together a new wood bed for my 3 year old. After not being able to walk around with my sons on Halloween and a couple weeks of not being able to pick up much of anything, I went to the doctor and started going to a physical therapist to help get my back in shape. Things started getting better and I was fairly happy.

ADD Moment #6: Muscle relaxers sure help relieve the pain in your muscles, as long as you don't mind being completely out of it and possibly falling asleep.

So come December, while shoveling a good 10"-12" of dense snow and the end of the driveway packed with 2 lanes of snowplow induced icy slush I heard a loud pop in my back and I was done shoveling. The absolute WORST pain I have ever felt in my life all the way down my right leg, to the top of my foot.

ADD Moment #1: I now have a hate-hate relationship with snowplows.

Back to the doctor and the therapist... 15 days of Pregnisone (oral steroid) and Percaset. Now the pain only goes down to the knee, but I've lost pain sensation and reflex in my right ankle...
