So... my previous blog showed the damage that FedEx and their goons did to my new Extra 300. This blog shows the fix. I opted not to go the red-tape route and try and get FedEx to reimburse me on the odd chance they would want to see the damage someday. I figured I can fix it and fly it easier than I can look at a fixable plane on my shelf and not touch it. Like a kid with a new toy that he can't play with. Unbearable to say the least. It would be too much for me.

So I fixed it... not a "perfect out of the box" job but it's certainly stand off scale. Now lets see how she flies.
