Always wanted to Shark fish, from shore. Finally got a chance to do that last weekend. Catch and release of course, just pictures.

Lil over 10 months work. We have 8000.00 in supplies but labors all me! We are having a great time building our tranquil sanctuary....

Never done it before, but after watching a few YouTube videos on how to do this, I figured I can build one to. It is 18'x16' and wraps around waterfalls. I build a bench into it by falls also. I used a Sharp Shooter shovel and set 20 4x4s in quikcrete and went from there. Was very fun to build but my body had noticed the work as I was hurting for a few days after I got it done.

Built this by hand, it has twin waterfalls each with own pumps, filters. UV light to kill Algea. Aprox 1500 gallons, 8x10 x 2-3.5 feet deep. I buried all plumbing and electricle wires underground so nothing shows. Been a really fun project and never ending as I will be adding to it and the backyard probably forever!

Here is my Saltwater Aquarium,self contained,no filters/water changes or maintenece..feed fish once every night and enjoy.The fish did not care for camera and hid well in the rocks,there is more you dont see than you do in my tank.2 mated coral banded shrimp,strawberry crab,Pistol shrimp,star fish ect all comes out from time to time but not every day,makes it interesting when they do show up.The pistol shrimp lets you know hes in there by snapping his 1 claw and making a lil sonic boom(sounds like,well....a pistol and it can be quite loud!
