A brisk 45 degrees this morning, first time I have had a long sleeve shirt on in months. Shorts and air conditioning last week, a jacket on the next...life in the Midwest.

Wrapped up work about 5:30, and started cleaning up the shop. I keep all my RC stuff in there and decided to grab my Merlin for a quick flight.

About 6:00 by the time I got to the field (subdivision under development),only got in 2 packs before it was getting too dark to see well.

I figure another 3-4 weeks of decent flying weather, after that it will be a good day here and there.

Plans for the winter include a Multiplex FunCub, they have been a little hard to get lately so I decided not to worry about it and pick one up in the winter. Maybe some scratch built stuff also. Nice thing about shop work in the winter is you have plenty of time, bad part is you have very little good weather to enjoy what you have built.
