Looked out the window and saw what looked like a ICBM shooting out of KS. It was moving so fast and about straight up! You can see from the contrails just how fast it was moving. Got the camera and took a pic. I could see it had wings so not a ICBM, but what plane travels that fast and almost straight up?

Clone or improvement? All the drive shafts are from one company. The Goblin took to the air today. I didn't really push it with IRCHA around the corner, but It runs 100 times smoother than my stock Goblin 500 and at half the sound. This heli is truly stealth. Much more power with the Savox 4750 motor. The Nova main gear is so smooth and cut perfectly.

I do have two things I don't like. First the true CF makes changing the battery a major pain because the release is too hard to pull out. Second is the gyro plate from Nova. They used the same size stand offs as the main frame so the gyro sits too high putting it in line with the canopy. Have had one new addition to my fleet and have seen one go away.
I finally bit the bullet and got a 250, but to keep me in the air I sold my Hoss 450.

Got me a little Q180 to play with indoors, yet I can't seem to keep it indoors and started my newest project the HK500GT.

I rebuilt it and added CF tail servo holder, Ceramic bearings on the tail, CF sides, pulled apart the CA'd tail boom supports and epoxied them, all together I have about $130 in the air frame. A whole lot cheaper than the Align 500 at $499 retail.
