These are a few Helipads already built and owned.....but I wanted to show you all for ideas and possibilities. I can build for any budget....but metal frame pads start at roughly 75.00 and go up....depending on size and design. A lot of labor and love goes into my pads and I hope to have more of my fellow pilots taking off and landing on them...!! They also look great in the house to display your will find yourself redesigning your decor around them....I do all the time...!!! Especially as I build them....I have had a house full of them a couple of times. They are fun with the lights going as well....lights are an expense on top.....until I can get lighting cost down via averages about 100.00 and up. The lighting is all wired by me....right down to the shrink wrap and resistors on the they are done right. My lights can run on up to 11.1v....but I run mine on a 7.4v 2000mah lipo and get like 7hours constant runtime on my 36" 1500mah gets a solid 4+ hours.....I did notice the runtimes are less when I run a 3 cell....the lights are not much brighter I run 7.4v....but you do need at least 750mah for the blinking lights to blink....because of the resistors I use. So let's build some Helipads and kick the fun level up a little for you. Biggest how accurate your landings become.....

I love changing things I did...! Changed paint color on a few spots...(it cracks and chips off the landing gear over time because the paint isn't as flexible as the gear...but just takes a respray if needed)....added some rotor stripeing and re-affixed some of the lighting. All new Eagle (other was blue letters).... any added weight is so minimal that the Heli doesn't know any difference.... No change in flight for the SCALE type flying I do. Looks great soaring by....

Since my last post on this truck it got a new body and new lighting.....I had all the brakes and directionals/reverse etc. all working.....but a rolling crash killed the circuit board in the controller..... So I hard wired them together with a mini toggle switch and they all come on with the flick of the switch.... Gotta light your vehicles if you don't have them.....night operation kicks butt..!!

My Fly Spot......Chandler Bowl has a big hill to traverse several times if you want to have a bunch of stuff on hand..... Necessity is the Mother of from scratch I created the solution.... Only parts I used from outside the project are the wheels and tires....and the top handle off my old Milwaukee radio that died.... makes a great handle...!! And.....I'm working on a light post and umbrella for it as well....
