How to set up the V922 + HT8 module with a Flysky FS-T6 TX (big thanks to FyreSG for his assistance with curves and expo)
HT8 module - set to Futaba
The FS-T6 uses a 4 pin PS/2 style connector. This doesn't come with the HT8 so I purchased a 10-in-1 USB flight sim from Banggood - it comes with the required cables and also allows you to use the TX on fight sims.
I tested the DC socket on the TX - no voltage. You can't use it to power the HT8 so use it's internal Lipo (V3 HT8)
Set up the TX:
Some assumptions - you know how to add a model to the TX
1. Hold down the scroll button to enter Function menu
2. Enter System and create a new Model and enter a name.
3. In "Type Select" chose Helicopter Swash 120
4. Click OK to leave the menu
5. Hit Cancel to go back to the main menu
1.Select System menu
2. Reverse menu - Reverse channels 3 & 4
3. Dual rate / Expo
Ch1 & 2
4. Throttle curve
5. Pitch curve
6. Swash AFR
Swash Type 120
7. Throttle Hold
As always you can adjust the curves to suit yourself along with the AEP figures. You can also assign which switches you want for IU / TH.
I've just flown 2 batteries thru my V922 - hovering nicely and less sensitive than before. I may adjust a little more to reduce sensitivity further but right now it's fine for my uses.
