Build log Vickers Viscount 814
Since the DC-6 is about to be finished (not more than one yaer to go
) and no more planning is necessary I wondered if I start looking for another challenge.
I got it! I started gathering technical information on a Vickers Viscount 814 turboprop airliner.
Until the DC-6 is done I start gathering all information on that plane that I can get. If you have some information about any Vickers Viscount please let me know!
Cheers Alexander

Connection to the full scale plane now evident
Hi folks,
I am proud to tell you that the company who runs the full-scale plane, the DC-6A Cloudmaster G-APSA mentioned my build on their restoration blog.
See here: Cloudmaster - The Famous Classic Arliner
See also their homepage The Six.
So don't miss their blog to see when G-APSA is flying again and get all news about the restoration. Don't forget. In Europe G-APSA and the Red Bull DC-6B are the only airworthy DC-6 left. The G-SIXC from Air Atlantique is for sale. Running these venerable Propliners is a costly business.
Cheers Alexander
