Hi Guys
It has been 3 years since I did an extended building project but felt I needed something serious for the cold and flu season here in NY .
I may have bitten off more than I thought .
I have been very busy this past 3 years building EPP slow fliers and have enjoyed every minute of it .At the most however a foamie only takes about 3 or 4 days max to build .Lord knows I do not have much room left now for more airplanes so I decided to build something that takes a lot longer .
I always loved the way the old free flight jobs looked so I decided to build a smaller electric version . My choice was a 1/2 A TEXACO size electric , RC job .
Lots of work but loving it .

I have a problem with stepping in the stuff while trying to fly my parkflyer .I have tried to scare them off with conventional FOAMIES in the past with only moderate success .
This is my latest effort .Lets see if they can eat the grass and poop in peace with this eagle flying over their heads.

hi Guys
This is my 1 1/2 meter glider .I have been interested in adding video to my RC hobby for some time now .This is my first effort with a glider .The results were not all I wanted them to be but I got valuable experience and think I can do much better next time.

This is one of my recent endeavers .I designed this Safety Bench for the Meroke RC Club back in 2001 .We made up a construction article that appeared in a 2002 AMA magazine .The Safety Bench has been built over most of the world and I have collected about 2000 pictures of it over the years .The first picture is of me in 2002 safely behind the spinning prop. The second picture is of my brother Bob starting his airplane engine.

My interest in model airplanes dates back to my boyhood and I can remember building models during the WW2 years .We had very limited materials during those times .My Grandfather bought me my first powered engine back in about 1947 or so .They were extremely scarse as they were not back into full production yet.He had to wait in line in front of a hobby shop for many hours until the shipment was delivered and unwrapped. The engine is a Vivel ignition 35.I still have it but the ignition parts have long since been lost.
Bringing the story up to date this is what I am doing now.
