So update on what my little 4 Site has been doing:

At the Bilo center in Greenville, SC there was a monster jam. The thing where they have monster trucks in the arena. At pre-show and halftime I got to fly with a bunch of other guys running r/c trucks that were hitting the jumps the monster trucks use and the crowd was going absolutely nuts for us smashing those things to pieces. Louder than the trucks almost it seemed. There were 12,000 people there and they loved every minute of it. Definitely the best flying experience I have had to date. It was insane in the membrane.

Here is the video.

Two day and two night flights. Flying with less light eliminates the prop lines surprisingly that show up during the day. Tall grass makes for nose overs. No damage so far after lots of them

Brand new G-62 that has been in the box for 12 years fired once and ran for a short time but wouldnt start again. May need a carb rebuild to replace diaphragm. Had to move gas tank to center line to not throw off CG as it drained and moved throttle servo because it was in the way.

Choke servo will be installed once the B&B specialties choke linkage gets here. Also installed a killswitch for safety.

There is no way to run a servo directly to the choke in the position the engine is in. But I leave for college again in a few days so I'm happy I at least got the engine to turn over. Gonna finish this thing before Joe Nall 2011 and bring it down. I only live 45 minutes away

Just finished the 30% Staudacher that my dad has had for 12 years sitting in the basement. I'll get some pictures up once we get it checked over and its good to fly. Had to custom order landing gear since my dad lost the originals.

How come I dont see any staudachers anymore? Not that there were many around to begin with. The aircraft has won national aerobatic championships before and there are still some full scale around. The air national guard has one. Picture attached.
