My friends in www.tmart.com have been very kind to send me a new microcóptero. When I thought I could not do something even smaller, it appears! Miniaturization at the highest level!

This MicroQuad within the package contains:
  • Micro quad, 4cm wide (really small)
  • Control 2.4Ghz to avoid interference
  • 50mAh LiPo battery for about 3 minutes flight approximately
  • Micro transmitter pocket
  • USB Charger
  • Spare propellers and user manual

The MicroQuad came in a rather peculiar (in a small envelope, to save shipping) box, and the initially see it, more like a small toy box, that an RC aircraft. The quad comes on top, and the transmitter at the bottom of the transparent box. The packaging is quite delicate, but hopefully there was no damage during shipping.

Before starting the flight, remember that this is not a toy!, Despite being very small and friendly (the model is a clone of DJI phantom, but 1:10 scale) their propellers spin at very high speeds, and could cause any injury in case of skin contact while on the move. It emphasized that for any multirotor that fly indoors, must check that there is sufficient space and that there are no obstacles for their flight.

First Flight

After putting a charge for about 10 mins, and find a pair of AAA batteries for the transmitter, the first thing that jumps out is the least of all. The MicroQuad as mentioned them only measures 4cm side and the transmitter does not measure more than 6cm in length. The transmitter is quite...Continue Reading

Hello friends

Im here to review this new microquad I get. Its the JXD 385 2.4GHz 4 Channel 6 Axis RC Quadcopter UFO, that you can get from www.tmart.com, in this url: http://www.tmart.com/JXD-385-2.4GHz-...e_p188324.html

The people from tmart made an excellent choice selling this item. By far, is one of the best micro multicopters I've tested and played with.

First of all, the unit came secure wrapped and packed. All the unit came in a small box, so it wont have any issues in customs. Here in Ecuador, when the customs officer see a big box, they open it, and the most of the times, charge you extra taxes for the item... not in this case

Inside the box, there is everything you need to start flying. The box contains:
  • 2.4Ghz Micro quad copter
  • 2.4Ghz transmitter
  • 1 x 1s 150mah lipo battery
  • 1 x USB lipo charger
  • 4 x spare propellers (one for each motor)
  • Users manual

Everything inside the box, came protected by a transparent plastic structure. That asures that the multicopter and the transmitter (the sensitive parts) get protected during travel.

The multicopter is small! It measures arround 10cm per side. The propellers came in 2 different colors (black and white) to get a better tracking in the air, and the unit is enclosed in a hard plastic structure

Last week, I received my new addition to my little big fleet. Its a V911 RTF heli, from www.tmart.com.

Buying from www.tmart.com gives you 2 advantages: a) Low prices and b) A USA warehouse, which means free shipping (the same free shipping of some china-based sites) and faster deliveries.... just my 2 cents

The unit comes in a nice package. A little box (arround 30x30x10cm), contains all the items needed to flight. Also, the box is very sturdy, protecting the unit in the travel from the warehouse, to your front door.

For the record, the shipping time, from the USA warehouse, to Cuenca, Ecuador, was less than 2 weeks. cheap and fast.

This heli is perfect for the newbie, for people who wants to try helicopters, and dont want to make a hole in their pockets (or clear their bank accounts). For $40.52 (shipping included) you get this items:
  • V911 Helicopter
  • 2.5Ghz transmitter
  • 2 1S/150mAh batteries
  • USB battery charger, 2 batteries at the time
  • 1 full set of spare propellers

As you see, its a RTF package. You only need to add 6 AA batteries for the transmitter, and you are ready to go.

Hello friends

I want to share with you my experience with a micro spy helicopter, which integrates a video camera on board.

Its more a kind of toy-ish heli, but the video recording is a nice add for a heli this price.

This heli was buyed on www.dx.com, and as usual, it took 3 weeks to arrive to Ecuador. The packing was nice, and keep the inners of the box safe from the long travel.

A funny fact in the box it says that the heli includes 130 mega pixel camera LOL. Usually it happens in all the items produced in China, because of bad translators. Luckly, it didnt affect at all the performance of the heli.

Let me tell you some specs of this heli:
  • 3.5 Channel IR transmitter
  • Coaxial design, which makes it very stable at flight
  • 300Kpx image sensor, records video at 320x240 @ 25fps
  • Video is recorded in a 1GB SD card (included)
  • Includes battery, USB charger, spare blades, and USB card reader for download videos

Inside the box, the unit and the transmitter comes protected with a clear plastic cover. More protection for the heli in the long trip from the store to your home
