I added a separate on/off switch as the stock switch is not reliable, cheap and can disrupt signal connection during flight. The points I used to solder the switch wires were the top left and the one right below it. See pictures for reference. As you can see, the TX already has holes so I use 1 to install the switch. Be careful when you take apart the round mode switch, take a photo before you unscrew it. It's a bit tricky to put back on. The stock switch still functions but I will not be using it, only the new switch. Also put a dab of liquid tape on the battery connector so it will not come loose.
