Ted has been working on a Horten flying wing and sent me these photos sometime last week. Looks pretty cool. I think it's going to be EDF.
That's a lot of sanding!

Saturday gaves us some decent wind on the east side. We actually had quite a bit of combat going on. The thermal guys stayed out in front high, while anyone with foamies was flying in close and looking to take fellow foamies out (isn't that what friendship is all about?).
If my pictures don't look as good, blame two things:
1) The sky had a cloudy almost hazy fog thing going on.
2) DJ bopped my 18-135mm lens with his Half-pipe last week, which sent it off to Nikon for repairs. Had to rely on my trusty 50mm.

Enjoy the pics

It's been a couple weeks without anything in the blog. Last week we were rained out, but this Saturday made up for it. We had much warmer temperatures and plenty of winds.

We got 2 good days of flying in with Fiday being New Years day. Saturday brought us a cold front (Brrrrrrrrrr). But as we all know that means North winds....yeah. We were cold, but got some great North Side slopeing. Again I let our illustrious Ben C be our photographer, so for once enjoy a different photographer's perspective......

The landfill was open New Year's day and guys got some flying. I didn't attend but I heard it was windy, choppy air that hovered on the SW corner.
Ben C (Falcon880) was kind enough to get some pics and send them on. Thanks for the pics Ben.
