I thought I'd share my a979 running a 3s Lipo. I drove this truck several times on 3s, for around 10-20 minutes each time and on my last run a few minutes in I stripped the stock spur gear. I plan on getting the metal spur gear and metal drive shaft and running 3s with a gps on board to record the top speed.
