I found out yesterday how much easier it is to solder on a Deans with a chisel tip vs. a pointed tip. With a chisel tip, you have a lot more surface area to transmit the heat and melt the solder. I don't believe how much aggravation I would have saved if I had been soldering Deans connectors with a chisel tip from the beginning.
