Hello everybody! I though I'd add a bit about what I have going on in in the work shop.

I year ago I started on the rebuild of my H9 Sport 40 CAP 232. It original plane lasted about 10 flights before it bit the dust due to an airframe failure. I knew it needed a new wing and one was cut from foam and finished. After closer examination, the fuse was deemed unusable. Most of the doublers were delaminated. Well with a good wing and no fuse I proceeded to build a new fuse for the new wing. I did reuse the turtle deck behind the canopy, the canopy itself, the cowl, though damaged quite bad was saved, the landing gear and the rudder and elevators. I broke the wing in flight , saved the plane with a hard landing. Another new wing is in the making and is taking priority over other projects at the moment.

I was given a crashed Carl Goldberg Monster Pitts. It had the motor mount / landing gear mount broken out, a busted up lower wing half and a couple other small issues. That rebuild is in process also and documented here. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1822051

Another project is a Pulse XT 40. The firewall is gone and needs the landing gear plate reinstalled with reinforcement. This will be a fun fly / float plane when it gets rebuilt. The new firewall is in and waiting for a break from other projects to get finished.
