I had been working long on the S78 and is finally done.

On a parallel project I worked on my tribute to Mr HS this is my version of his T-Killer I called ST-Killer, for two reason S stands for super, my version is bigger and has higher AR and second because in swiss german there is no "ST" letter as it has the high german from germany, where Mr HS comes from :P, I might be the only one who finds this funny thougth :P

Well some time withouth posting here, I just wanted to share some pics of my venturi vacuum pump. I am stonished with this set up, I used first time yesterday and it hols the presure with no leakages, more over it only needed on chager with my compressor and needed no refeel during the night. THis meas no noises during the night.

Here some pics of the plug for the pod, enough room for all the electronics THis is a very challenging project, where I will build almost every part I calculate some three to four months of work to have it on the air, we will see how it develops

well the vacump pump is finaly ready, it took less than two hours to put together, instead of the recomened PVC tubes I used a fire extingusher as reservoir. This is a venturi pump so it will be "powered" by a air compresor, Which I will get as birthday present in two weeks I will post some videos once the pump is operational, for the moment here are some pics

Hello Everyone

I am planning my next project, and high AR REF plane and I was thinking in something similar to the plane of Bill Watson, I am looking from more references on it but there is not a lot. So if you Know Mr. Watson, ahve his contact or he is around here I would be glad to hear more about profiles and construction techniques

Well I got a telefon from my wife and good news the Vacum Pump Kit arrived today perfect service, I will start a build log as soon as I get my hands on it

In other news I finished the copper level of the SSP the last 30min flight was the most challeging, the conditions were really bad but in almost my last flight of the day I mange not only to spec in a coupple of thermics but a nice flight with a bunch of falcons life is sweet

Well last night I had some free time and manage to finish my S78 wings, normally I build every thing then cover bit this time I felt I should finish the wings no matter I was no started with the other parts, I really like the results (see pics) the 17.5 aspect ration is amazing on sight also the weight 355g is very good, the wings feel strong but stil the flex a bit. I normally fly in relativle slow winds 24Km/h tops, so I thing it wont have any trouble.

On other news, I finally ordered the builders kit for my vacum Pum from Joe woodcraft http://www.veneersupplies.com/produc...Press-Kit.html

I have only good words of this service, the package was Packed and shipped in between 4 hours amazing, I just hope that the quality of the parts is as good, we will see

it was on sale (155 USD) and with the strong Euro it was a good investment, also my wife promise to give me a compresor as birthday present

I will be posting pics of its assambly

building never stops in my shop, here some pics of the latest developments

first the 50cm span LIMIT EX with foam balsa wings, that little devil flzs super fast, I will order a bungee cord from HK to launch it at full speed

and the new plane is the S78 form SpeedsterDEN, with balsa craved wings
