These photos show an Alpina Magic fuselage with an Alpina Pro canopy (CF)
While close, the Pro canopy will require some trimming. At very near to 15-1/2" it looks to be about 2 to 2-1/2" longer (now why didn't I measure the Magic fuse before stuffing it all away???).The standard Alpina canopy, judging by the trim lines on the kabine is just about 12-3/4".
To fit the Pro canopy to a Magic fuse you need to decide if the front of the Pro canopy fits better than the rear.Or to put it another way, which would be easier to trim? The front with it's compound curve or the rear with it's more or less straight curve?

There is a kinda ugly fuse and a pretty fuse.
The ugly fuse is slightly heavier (as perceived by fondling),has a crooked seam tape and some dirt or something that makes it look splotchy.
The pretty fuse is a cleaner layup that appears to have been stepped on and has some cracks that need repair.Still a very nice piece and the repairs needed are just basic FG repair and very minor alignment.
I'll take $60.00 for the ugly and $75.00 for the pretty.

Skies.
