Recently got back into R/C after a good layoff.......been building and flying models since 1972, starting with rubber-band free flight, free-flight hand launched gliders, control-line and very simple R/C....we didn't have a lot of money in the 1970s so R/C wasn't tried until I could afford a secondhand Cox/Sanwa 2-ch system purchased in 1981. Progressed thru a series of models and stayed fairly active until 1997 when I got into motorcycles then parenthood and didn't think about flying til 2005 when Parkzone started putting out all the electric stuff, which led to the micro e-flight stuff that I could fly in the front yard. Now that I have built up a nice collection of 2.4Ghz stuff, li-po batteries and brushless motors I'm having a ball flying either in the front yard or down at the schoolyard!
