Although i only really started my FPV career in December 09 i thought it would be fun to do a video compolation. So here it is. If you don't like the music, you can always turn your volume down
There's some crashes at the end
All the best to all for 2010

I loved my video goggles (EVG920) but the other day whilst FPV flying I wanted to wear them with my woolly hat as it was cold. SNAP. I broke the bloomin arm!!.
Well I had thought about doing this modification so this was the trigger. I followed the steps from http://www.rcexplorer.se/page14/goggles/goggles.html here and it went really well, in fact it only took an evening. The hardest thing was grinding out the ski goggles.
I made a few changes to what was described by RCExplorer. I hacked into the battery pod and soldered the power leads for the goggles derectly into it and I used an old composite video cable and soldered that to the correct wires in the goggles. Now the goggles plug straight into the video reciever. They feel a lot more rugged than the original goggles.
I hot glued the battery pod to the side of the goggles.
I've yet to fly with them but i know they will be brilliant. Thanks to RCExplorer.

Today i did the first ever fpv flight wearing some 80" goggles. It went really well but i think i'm getting some interference from a nearby cell tower which I didn't know was there untill i was flying by FPV
i was only getting about 12-1400 ft before it all went fuzzy.
Total flight time today was about 30mins with about 24 by fpv
Gonna try a new location next time i go flying to see if i get better reception.
